Many businesses make use of social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to promote their products or image.
Instagram is an app allowing users to share photos, marked with a hashtag. If the photo is reposted enough times, it's said to be trending, or to have gone viral, a term borrowed from the way a disease spreads. Twitter is also a popular platform for sharing short messages or links, called tweets. The internet, however, is not always a safe space, and businesses have to be wary of trolls, who post provocative messages with the intention of getting a reaction.

His agent is happy to discuss terms, on condition that it doesn't clash with any of his other commercial deals.
We can guarantee next day delivery, provided that the order is placed before 5pm.
We could turn the negative publicity to our advantage, provided that we're willing to show a sense of humor.
Should this go viral, our brand name will reach a huge audience.
What will we do should he fall out of favor next week?
