A. KEY VOCABULARY
Gestures - body language used to convey a meaning without words
Paralinguistics - verbal communication separate from the language itself
Miscommunication - when someone's meaning is interpreted incorrectly
Infer a meaning - to use indirect language to say what you want, without saying the exact words
Soften a remark - to make a comment less direct to avoid offense
flirt (with sb) - флировать (behave towards sb as if you find them sexually attractive, but not in a serious way)
